Here's the museum that opens one weekend per year - Visiting the FOLK OF GLOUCESTER | exclusive footage | video quick guide
The Folk of Gloucester (originally Gloucester Folk Museum then Gloucester Life Museum)
Originally a pin factory, and truly a "magical place" - it is a museum in limbo struggling to reopen and now only available this Heritage Open Days weekend.
With random artifacts featuring a typewriter, roll, Gloucestershire pig, black dog, grasshopper, rugby, printing press, paintings, wedding dresses and a bedroom (photo).
(Random update: The museum no longer features a Victorian classroom, having moved a few blocks away.)
Problem? Let's chat.
Time is asset: save it for better with a 25-min museum tour. Or find yourself in a novel, check out the photo of the day and finish it off with a secret prize.
