Lightship Sula (Gloucester) NOMENCLATURE. "Sula" was the name given by the ship's previous owner.  Clip: Lightship Sula (Gloucester) CONSERVATION. One of its mushroom anchors was kept. Together with post-war equipment, a compass and chain navigation wheel (rare).  WHATZ BOUT LIGHTSHIP?! A lightship gives out light signals where there's no rocks to build lighthouses. STATUS. The Folk of Gloucester (originally Gloucester Folk Museum then Gloucester Life Museum) A.k.a. Gloucester Folk Museum a.k.a. Gloucester Life Museum, there has been a bit of a struggling with its branding. Originally a pin factory, and truly a "magical place" - it is a museum in limbo struggling to reopen and now only available this Heritage Open Days weekend.  With random artifacts featuring a typewriter, roll, Gloucestershire pig, black dog, grasshopper, rugby, printing press, paintings, wedding dresses and a bedroom (photo).  (Random update: The museum no longer features a Victorian classroom, having moved a few blocks away.)   Problem?
